Delivery and returns

Thanks for shopping on Houseaashirya.com. All you need to know about our delivery timelines can be found right on this page:  

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • No delivery to PO Boxes. Should you enter a PO Box address at checkout, we will contact you to provide an alternate address and cancel your order if you do not provide us with an alternate address within 24 hours of the request.
  • Delivery times are based on working days, i.e. excluding weekends & public holidays.
  • House Aashirya is an online retailer and delivers nationwide. If you choose to collect, an order may be picked up from our warehouse in Morningside durban. The delivery service we offer is a door-to-door service. This means the shipment will be delivered to the address, not the individual. I.e., if the individual is not available, it may be left with anyone at that address, e.g., security, staff, reception, etc.
  • It is essential that you leave a landline or mobile number for us to contact you during delivery hours.
  • All goods in transit are covered with insurance. 
  • You can track your orders with the tracking number in your orders dispatch confirmation email.
  • Shipping categories are offered at checkout based on your delivery area code. House Aashirya will, from time to time, offer promotional shipping rates, for example, free delivery for specific products.
  • House Aashirya reserves the right to amend shipping costs at any time.
  • Delivery time is based on the estimated time provided by the courier companies we use.
  • Should a package not be delivered through no fault of ours (e.g. no one on-premises/unable to answer calls/invalid or incomplete address), we will attempt a second delivery. If this is still unsuccessful, we will try to contact you via phone and email to make delivery arrangements with you. If we cannot reach you, the order will be returned to our warehouse and checked back into stock. You will be refunded the product amount, excluding the original delivery fee.
  • Customer orders take between 2-3 days to package. Delivery of these orders can take up to an additional 2-3 working days.

 

 

SHIPPING POLICY

*Extra fees may apply if delivery is outside the 25km radius of a major city centre

 

Major City Centres are:

 Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Pietermarbury, 

 

You will be notified of your parcel number via email when your order has left our distribution centre.

It will take approximately 5-10 days to deliver via courier, depending on where you live:

Metropolitan areas: Delivery can take up to 5 days 

Countryside areas: Delivery can take up to 10 days

 

If you cannot track your parcel or have not received it within the delivery times specified, please don't hesitate to contact us at info@houseaashirya.com.

 

Damaged Packages

Please report damaged products to House Aashirya within two days from the date of receipt. We will do our best to assist in resolving the issues. If you need to return an item due to a shipping error on our behalf, please repack it in its original packaging and contact us.

Out of Stock

House Aashirya does not support ordering out-of-stock products. If you are interested in an out-of-stock product, you can contact us to inquire about the future availability of the product. We can arrange to make a personal notification when the item (s) arrive.
